The initial decision was for the part by Glen Larson who sent her an extremely preliminary script to play the role on the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. Initially, she rejected the character because it seemed too weak. In the future, Glen wrote a new part exclusively for her featuring an even stronger character called Sheba. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25-page script. The show ran for one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) as well as co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
