Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally in the teen years at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. She was then nominated as a Barrymore Award nominee for her role of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. It was recast in the production when she performed her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. The show won her a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly also performed on The Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. After graduating from Princeton University, where she received a B.A. on Religion, and became a Triangle Club member, Molly was a student at Princeton University. in Religion. Molly was a part of numerous regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee produced by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 as well as the North Shore Music Theatre's 2010 The Diary of Anne Frank at the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly was Anne. Molly has been a star in a variety of regional productions, such as The Diary of Anne Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's production in 2010.
